In 2021, the festival returned for its third year with the theme “Together, Apart,” reflecting the ongoing impact of the COVID-19 pandemic and how audiences have adapted to enjoying experiences together, even if it means being physically apart in the comfort of their homes. The festival expanded to a larger venue, a theatre auditorium, and featured more artists on the lineup. Audiences also had the option to enjoy the festival virtually through the livestream. The team relied on social media promotion and mainstream media channels to advertise the festival, as they had done in previous years.
